Designed for children 2-5 years old. The Tiny Tiger program uses games and exercises like "Stranger Danger" to teach young students basic self-defense principles and other skills that will help them achieve in school and in life. The program focus on self-esteem, respect, discipline, and confidence development along with coordination, listening, and attention skills. For children 6-14 years old. The ATA's innovative program for older-school-aged children encourages goal-setting and personal responsibility. The Karate for Kids program includes the Star System, which rewards students for their accomplishments at home, at school, in their communities, and in Taekwondo class. Our Taekwondo program is built on the philosophy of ATA founder Grand Master H.U. Lee that anyone can do Taekwondo. ATA members range from three-year-olds to octogenerians, and they include students who have never done any physical activity as well as those who have excelled in professioinal sports. We also readily accommodate students with special needs. The ATA has always made its training programs available to people of all ages and physical abilities. CardioKARATE™ classes offer a vigorous and challenging cardiovascular workout. Like traditional aerobics classes, CardioKARATE™ applies physical movements to a pulse-pounding musical beat. But unlike other aerobics programs, the movements in a CardioKARATE™ class have practical applications and help to develop martial arts skills. |
